Now, if your travel agent hasn't helped you with that, I can tell you that in case of an emergency you can go to any hospital ... just make sure you have insurance .... If you want to avoid the trouble of not being able to talk to the medical staff, then go to the British Hospital, cause they mainly deal with foreigners, and of course everybody there speaks English ... it's on Rua Saraiva de Carvalho
